Wash & Care
Silk has a reputation for being difficult to care for. It isn't, once you know what it actually needs.
Washing
Hand wash in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent. Swirl gently, don't scrub. If you prefer machine washing, use the delicate cycle in a mesh bag with cold water only.
Rinsing
Rinse thoroughly with cold water until the water runs clear. No soap residue left behind.
Drying
Do not wring or twist. Lay flat on a clean towel and roll it up gently to press out the water, then unroll and lay the scarf flat to air dry. Keep it out of direct sunlight.
Ironing
If it needs a press, iron on the lowest setting with a cloth between the iron and the silk. Never iron directly on the fabric.
Storage
Fold loosely and store in a cool, dry place away from direct light. A breathable fabric pouch works well if you want to keep it protected.
These scarves are made to be worn regularly. Take care of them and they'll last for years.
