Your space deserves a piece worth keeping
Custom silk scarves designed for cultural institutions, museums, boutique hotels, and the gift shops that represent them.
Custom silk scarves for cultural institutions and hospitality brands
Museum gift shops and hotel boutiques carry a specific responsibility — every product on the shelf is a proxy for the institution itself. It should be beautiful, meaningful, and worth taking home.
That's exactly what we design at Mali Creative Studio.
We create custom silk scarves for cultural institutions and hospitality brands — pieces rooted in original illustration, tied directly to your collection, identity, or landscape, and produced on premium silk in formats suited to gift retail.
Our institutional work
We have been the design and supply partner for the Museum of the Cathedral of Santo Domingo for over a year. We designed three custom scarves depicting sacred objects, iconography, and the museum's own identity — each piece reflecting something true about that place. The museum sells both size formats in their gift shop and restocks consistently.
That relationship is the model for how we work with every institutional partner: attentive at the design stage, reliable in production, easy to restock.
What we offer institutions and hotels
Custom commission
A scarf designed exclusively for your institution — depicting your collection, architecture, cultural identity, or a specific exhibition. Delivered in standard and/or large silk format, production-ready and restock-ready from day one.
Gift shop wholesale
Prefer to start with an existing design? Our collection of nature-inspired silk scarves is available for wholesale to museum stores, hotel boutiques, and cultural retail. Line sheet available on request.
Ongoing supply partnership
For institutions who want consistent restocking without the administrative burden. We manage design, production, and delivery — you manage the shelf.
Why silk scarves work in institutional retail
They are lightweight, giftable, and perceived as premium. They photograph well, travel easily, and have a long shelf life compared to paper goods or perishables. A well-designed scarf tied to a specific place or collection becomes the souvenir a visitor actually wants — not an obligation purchase.
We are expanding
We are currently expanding to a small number of new institutional partners in the United States. If you represent a museum, cultural institution, historic property, or boutique hotel and want to explore a collaboration, we'd love to hear from you.
